Its a Dream World

Every gambler is waiting for their big day, that day when they win the big jackpot.  This is a familiar characteristic of a gambler and they spend many hours creating that big winning day in their mind.  The have it all planned, the crowd that gathers as they collect their winnings and maybe even the press who shows up to put them on the front page of the paper.

Gamblers are charming people and often seen as philanthropic. They have great stories about how they will providing friends and family with new cars, travel trips and the best things in life.   Their dream world shows them with a leisurely life, servants, nice clothes, world tours and yachts which will all be had once that big win arrives.

When or if they do succeed, the compulsive gambler will dream bigger dreams.  When they loose, desperation emerges.  That dream world of theirs goes crashing down around them but without those dreams their life would be intolerable.
