Greyhound Betting Strategy

The racing greyhound is similar to the race horse in many ways.  Their performance peak happens at certain times and they can have seasons that are good and seasons that are bad.  If they are young, it is possible they haven’t reached their peak yet and over time they will mature and perform better.

You need to collect as much information as possible and then analyze it to be able to an educated judgement on your bet. There are three main factors you need to look at and to analyze and that are: the value of the odds, the odds offer and the type of bet.

For a bet to be worthwhile, it needs to be at least 2:1 and this is the odds offer. The value of the odds must make the sportsbook commission kept to a minimum.  The types of bets, which are a single, multiple, combination etc., should be simple.  This way it will not be too difficult to win and the potential of winning is good.  A good winning potential would be the Straight bet, Doubles and the Future.
